St. Joseph’s School Manikbond

Recognizing the need for education in Manikbond village, the local people came together to level a hillock and construct a school building. Their collective effort led to the establishment of St. Joseph’s School in 1994.

The school began with 24 students and two teachers, with Fr. Lancelot serving as the first Principal and Sr. Avila Vazheparambil, SCCG, as the first Headmistress. Over the years, the institution has grown steadily in both strength and reputation.

The first batch of students appeared for the HSLC examination in 2004, achieving 100% results, a record that the school has consistently maintained. Today, the school has around 486 students and 18 teachers, continuing its mission of providing quality education and value-based formation to the children of the region.
