The establishment of the Fransalian Agency for Social Care and Education in India (FAsCE India) has given a renewed and dynamic thrust to the social outreach of the Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales in the Guwahati Province. Rooted in compassion and inspired by Gospel values, FAsCE India translates faith into meaningful social action.
Over the years, it has implemented numerous need-based initiatives such as the eradication of leprosy, promotion of adult literacy, distribution of essential supplies during floods and natural calamities, and extensive relief work during the COVID-19 pandemic. At selected mission centres, these programmes are carried out with particular intensity and dedication. Continuous formation programmes are also organized for confreres to deepen their understanding and commitment to social ministry.
