SFS Secondary School Bahalpur Chapar

SFS Secondary School, Bahalpur Chapar

SFS Secondary School was established on 22 January 2003 under the name St. Jude School and was later renamed SFS School in January 2005. In its early years, the school faced challenges due to limited infrastructure and lack of proper communication and transportation facilities, which affected student enrolment.

Despite these difficulties, the school gradually gained recognition through its academic environment, quality education, discipline, and strong engagement with parents. The Parents–Teachers Association (PTA) played an important role in supporting the growth of the institution, especially under the leadership of the first PTA President, Late Mr. Naresh Chandra Rai, whose dedication greatly helped the school in its formative years.

Over time, the school expanded its infrastructure. The ground floor was constructed in 2004, while the first and second floors were added between 2006 and 2009. In 2016, modern toilet facilities for boys, girls, and teachers were built, further improving the campus facilities.

Today, the school has grown into a full-fledged Secondary School (LKG to Class X) with around 825 students, 25 teaching staff, and three non-teaching staff. Two priests and two sisters are actively involved in the administration and teaching ministry.

The school first appeared for the HSLC Board Examination in 2014, achieving 100% pass results, including three distinctions and three star marks. The following years also recorded excellent results, continuing the school’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic formation.
