The CRI-Northeast Region organized a two full days seminar on the theme “Challenges of Evangelization Today” at the MSFS Provincial House, Narengi, on November 9 -10, 2024. The CRI gathering brought together around 58 representatives from various congregations to discuss the pressing challenges of evangelization in today’s rapidly changing socio-cultural and religious contexts. The two-day program focused on identifying obstacles, sharing innovative practices, and fostering collaborative strategies for effective evangelization in the modern world.The program, spearheaded by Rev. Fr Jacob Parappally MSFS, brought together a diverse group of clergy and religious leaders, to reflect on the contemporary challenges of evangelization and the Church’s role in fostering authentic Gospel values in today’s rapidly evolving socio-cultural milieu. In the seminar, Fr Jacob Parappally MSFS set the tone by highlighting the complex realities of evangelization in a secularized, pluralistic world. He emphasized the need for creative approaches to mission work, grounded in compassion, dialogue, and inclusivity. This Seminar on “Challenges of Evangelization Today” served as a platform to reignite the missionary zeal of its participants. Fr Jacob Parappally MSFS expressed his gratitude to all attendees, encouraging them to carry forward the spirit of evangelization in their ministries.
