The MSFS parish mission preaching draws its inspiration, content and methodology from the way Fr Mermier conducted parish missions, but adapted to our times marked by challenges of secularism, individualism and postmodern relativism. The MSFS has been engaged in the renewal of faith by establishing parishes and catering to the pastoral and spiritual needs of the people.

The Congregation has made enormous contribution to the growth of evangelisation in North East India thanks to the tireless efforts of our missionaries who work in some of the far-flung areas.The MSFS parishes conduct various programmes like annual retreats, camps, seminars, formation of the youth, self-help groups, prayer units, etc.
