Every mission begins with a call — a quiet invitation from God to love, to serve, and to give oneself without reserve. As Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales, inspired by the gentle heart of St. Francis de Sales, we strive each day to make that call visible in the lives we touch and the communities we serve.

The Guwahati Province, born in 2020, is not merely an administrative division; it is a story of faith, sacrifice, and hope. In the hills, valleys, villages, and towns of Northeast India, our confreres walk with the people — listening to their struggles, sharing their joys, educating their children, strengthening their faith, and standing beside the poor and the forgotten. Our missionary spirit echoes the passionate cry of our Founder, Peter Marie Mermier: “I want Mission.” That desire continues to burn in our hearts.

This platform is not simply about information. It is an invitation to encounter our journey — our dreams, our challenges, and our commitment to serve with humility and compassion. Behind every parish, every school, every mission centre, there are lives being shaped, hopes being restored, and faith being rekindled.

As Provincial, I carry in my heart the prayers of our people and the dedication of our confreres. I humbly ask you to remember us in your prayers, that we may remain faithful to our calling and courageous in our service.
