The Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales – Guwahati Province places profound importance on the Formation Apostolate, recognizing that consecrated life is essentially for mission. The years of formation are therefore an intense and sacred preparation for lifelong missionary service.

The Province currently has four Formation Houses in India, manages St. Clement Interdiocesan Philosophate (Nagaon), and oversees one Formation House in the South Africa Region. In total, 19 confreres are fully engaged in the Formation Apostolate, including those serving at Suvidya College (Bangalore), Lumen Christi Institute (Arusha), and Morning Star Regional Seminary (Barrackpore, Kolkata).
