St. Francis de Sales School Sindhukpathar

St. Francis de Sales School, Sindhukpathar, was established on April 20, 2009, with 105 students in KG I and KG II and three classrooms. As the number of students increased, three more classrooms were added in 2010.

Over the years, the school has grown steadily, and by 2016 the student strength had risen to about 440. To meet the growing needs of the institution, 12 additional classrooms were constructed.

The new building was inaugurated on December 23, 2016, by Mr. Jitendra Chowdhury, Member of Parliament, and blessed by Most Rev. Lumen Monteiro, Bishop of Agartala, in the presence of Fr. George Panthanmackel, then Provincial of the Northeast India Province of the MSFS. The occasion was also graced by several dignitaries, including Mr. Parvat Chowdhury, MLA; Mr. Josubir Tripura, MLA; Ms. Rita Kar, MLA; and Mr. Manik Chakraborthy, BDO.

Since its inception, the school has continued to grow in its mission of providing quality education and value formation to the children of the region.
